Aston Martin Vantage Door puddle laser LED light – new UK stock.

This door light projects the aston martin logo, with the style shown in pic 1 and 2

This is a set of door “puddle” lights for fitment to the Aston Martin Vantage, fitment is actually very easy if you’ve taken a small bravery pill.

Installation requires

1. Hole saw (included with every purchase)

2. Flat head screwdriver, to remove the existing door light for access

3. Half-round/round file, actually any kind of curved file will work  (Do you see how I avoided using the phrase “half-round-bastard” there)

4. Wire cuttters and knife

5. Soldering iron/solder if you want to splice the lights into the existing door light. Or just a terminal connector block

Installations instructions

1. Remove the existing door light with a small flathead screwdriver and unplug the light

Once the door light is removed you’ll have nice access hole through which you’ll wire the door logo light later

2. Taking your hole-saw- drill a hole in the plastic underside of the vantage door, as shown in the photos above.  Alongside the large bolt is ideal, as there are no obstructions above and it gives you easier access to fasten the logo light later

3. At this point you’ll notice that the logo light won’t push all the way through, it will only go as far as the threads.  Equip your file and widen the hole until the logo light unit passes all the way through.

(There are two retaining ‘nuts’ on each light, you want one below and one above the plastic part of the door you’ve just drilled through.

4. Pass one of the retaining lugs over the wire and over the light unit, and screw both nuts together to secure the item to the door.

5. Cut the existing wire to the existing door light and splice the new wires in black to black, red to orange/black

6. Put the existing door light back in.

7 Close the door, open it again and enjoy. You might want to rotate the logo light into a position where you’re happy with the Aston Martin Logo
