Ducati 748 916 996 998 900ss +++ Speedometer, Tacho bezel and perspex DIY kit

Description

This item is a single Ducati Speedometer / Rev Counter bezel and perspex kit, for repairing 748 916 996 900ss, etc gauges.  As you’ll know if you’re reading this, the old glass and bezel really start to show their age, particularly if they’ve been left in direct sunlight for a long time.

This item will allow you to transform the look of your gauges at the fraction of the price of the incredibly rare new ones. Also, it saves weight and you can customise colours too.  The bezels I supply have been 3d printed, quality checked, sanded, primed and painted matt black.  You can select any colour you like, as long as it’s matt black.  Of course, you could re-spray the one I supply if you like.

Also supplied is laser cut perspex to fit into the aperature of the gauge.  I also sell Ducati 748 916 996 900ss temperature gauge bezels and perspex in the shop.

Directions to fit.
The easiest method I’ve found to replace the old bezel, is to make multiple cuts with a dremel around the outside of the bezel, and then slowly pry the old glass and bezel off, see pictures for the general idea, and also for the before and after.  The process is the same for the temperature gauge, or the Speedo/Tacho
